Horse Blaze PG159 viewsWe had taken the kids over to a friends house to see their horses. They had brought out Buckey, who was real gentle. The kids didn't seem too pleased by him at all. They then saw Blaze. A beautiful, huge, brown and white horse. That's the horse they wanted. He was pretty gentle too. Arabella brushed him. Then we walked all the horses back to the stables to feed them. Arabella decided she would get on Buckey. I quickly snapped a few photos. continued on next page. 5 commentsMarcie05/21/09 at 13:53Andrea: You keep this up and you will be owning a horse be...

What a Child Learns-Alex24 viewsI love the poem. I was trying to find something that fit his picture. This pose just seems to show a comfortable confident young man so this poem seemed to fit. This child is very confident, kind, helpful, etc. So I'd like to think I've done something right so far. I used the quilt because he's laying down...and well here is the results.

This is using Country Warmth #1 & 2.

Easter Egg Hunt (Right side) of 2-page LO20 viewsWe would do this Easter Egg hunt usually on Saturday so that we could use Sunday to worship the real meaning of Easter. We’d do this in hopes that they could separate the commercial view of Easter from the Christian view of Eater. The most important thing is that it has become a family tradition of having fun together.

Alex One Autumn Afternoon19 viewsThis is my son Alex last fall. The journaling says:
"Alex is the 6th child out of 7 in his family. He has 4 older brothers, 1 older sister, and 1 younger brother. He has a strong desire to please those around him. He strives hard to be helpful. He has a great love for those around him. He is sensitive to people’s feelings. He cares about people and will jump in to help in any way that he can. Like carrying a package for an elderly lady, opening doors, etc. Teachers have mentioned many times how they wish they had more like him because he is so helpful to those around him. It doesn’t matter if it’s his peers or leaders. He also has a hug for people if he feels they need it. It’ll be fun to see what he grows up to be. At least we think he’ll be really good with people! As his parents we certainly love him and are grateful to have him in our family!"

Kit is different assortments of my "Autumn Afternoon" series.

Template my own creation.

Memories of Ben_pg 128 viewsToday was a hard day (January 1, 2008). I had to put one of my most favorite horses down. Many tears were shed. His name is Ben. He was born in 1988 sometime-have no record of when. He is mostly a Foxtrotter with some Morgan. My Uncle and Aunt bought him in 1992 at the age of about 4 years old. They sold him to me in 1999 when they moved to town. I had to have him put down Monday December 31, 2007 at about 5:10PM because of colic. Boy he had a gait that was awesome...
