Kim,
After you load your layout in the gallery... you should be able to right click on it and choose

Copy image LOCATION (not the image itself)
Then come back to the thread
Click on the little IMG button in gray right above your text.
You should see this now:
[ img][ /img] but without the spaces after the bracket (I did that so it would show up)
Ctrl-V to paste your http code between the brackets like this but with no spaces before and after

[ img] your http address goes here [ /img]

That should work!

Carol,

Here is what I get when I right-click:

Vicki and I talked about this the other day and it seems like she had that option in a browser other than Internet Explorer. Do you use IE?

Yes, I am in Firefox. So here is what you have to do in IE.

In the gallery, there is a little blue circle with an I in it for file info. Click on that and a bunch of info will show up under your layout, including a URL link to the photo itself. Copy that link and then paste it like I mentioned below...

does that work???

Update: Ok. Got Firefox to work. Working on IE now.

I'm having problems too - I can't get either IE or Firefox to show an image in a thread. Both just give me a url. When I put the url between the [img] tags, the result is:

Kim, when you right click (and get this image that you posted) then you click on the PROPERTIES at the bottom. Look for the ADDRESS (URL) and copy it. Then come back here and choose IMG in your post. Then you can just paste the ADDRESS (URL) between the tags. That should work. ;)

I FINALLY got the photos to show up in the thread!

Carol, thank you for both sets of your instructions, I just don't know why they didn't work.
Vicki, thank you for persisting in helping me get the photos posted while we chatted on Facebook!

Ellie, I didn't see your post before Vicki walked me through it. Thank you for the response!
