Great colors, Marcie. I just bought a laptop, so I can play while at the cottage. Perhaps I'll get caught up!?!? :D

OH I look forward to see what you create on that laptop. :)

Diane, I canned peaches, applesauce, jam, zucchine relish this past weekend. I usually do pickles too, but this years cucumbers are not doing well. I'm palnning on freezing corn too. Canning is so easy and saves a lot of money too. :)

Oh, Marcie, it all sounds sooooo delicious; and I've never had zucchini relish (I love zucchini) - wish you could send "samples" over the internet! Now I'm getting hungry for something "homemade good!" mmmmmmmm....

Thanks for the virtual piece, Marcie, but it tasted a little "airy" - guess that's from sailing thru cyberspace! You could always PM me the recipe, but I'm sure it would taste ALOT better 'cause you made it; and, besides, I don't know the first thing about canning - (hey, I just got a new 2010 Prius earlier this month--I can really give it a workout on the highway - LOL!!!). But, if I remember correctly, you are pretty far from Philly - aren't you west of Harrisburg? (I'm about 15-20 minutes from Philly). It takes me about 1 hour, 10 min. to get to my cousin's house in Montgomery Co. (Lansdale exit off the Northeast Extension). About how far are you from there, and would that be going in the correct direction?

LOl I'm not that far from Philly. But yes I'm in the Harrisburg area so taht would add another 2 to 2 1/2 hours on your trip. :( But I'm sure it would be fun you in new pruis. :) Guess the virtual, airy piece will have to do. :) I can send you the recipe as canning is easy. If you ever feeling like trying it, i can give you a helping hand in getting started. :)
