Rhonda, this was fun. I've never been a part of a speed scrap before but I can see why scrappers really like them. I'm still trying to finish mine up so I can post it. I really look forward to the next one.

Great! So glad you enjoyed it and looking forward to seeing your pages in the gallery. I will leave comments there. Here is mine. Believe it or not, yesterday we had snow first in the morning with gray overcast skies but by mid-morning the sky was a bright blue and the cherry blossoms in our yard so very beautiful. I knew when I took these photos and saw the contrast between snow and cherry blossoms that would be our theme for this first Speed Scrap. Thank you everyone for joining us. You do have time to still post your pages so don't panic. Thank you!

I used texture and smooth for the background contrast as well as light and dark color. The main contrast is of course the Snow and Flowers in one day. If you click on the gallery photo you can view it in a larger size and actually see the snow against the car doors and my house.
