Post Depth of Field
On the blog page I've been covering the "Depth of Field". So I thought it would be fun to see pictures you've taken that you think has "depth of field" to it. It can be one you took in the past or a recent one. The idea is to show pictures with "Depth of Field" to share with others. This can help us with ideas or learn more about what "Depth of Field" means.

Post it here and/or link to the gallery. Then we'll have a little discussion. So who will be first?

I got a great shot of this little squirrel when I went to the Rocky Mountains. It's my example of depth-of-field.

Great idea Sonya. I fiddled with some of that at the beach this summer.
Now, I need to scrap and post!

I have just the photo in mind; I just have to quickly find it, do a "speed" scrap, and I'll be back!

Thanks all....Ellie I love your layout and pictures. Diane to do this photography skill you don't need to have them scrapped. I forgot to mention that. In fact it's best if we don't because then we can see the details of the "depth of field" better. Keep the images under 300x300 pixals here in the forum. Then for those who want they can also post the pictures in a layout.

Sorry, Sonya - too late! I didn't see your message until I came back to post the layout. Besides I wanted to do another layout with Ellie's new Autumn Breeze kit, anyway!

The top pic of my DH (before he was my DH) is my example of depth of field. He had (still has) a really good 35mm film camera (Mamiya Sekor - sp??) that he bought when he was in the military. It takes such nice clear, sharp pics. In this photo, he adjusted the camera for the distance I would be standing from him and he got into the pic and I snapped it. I just love the way it came out, with the boat and water blurred in the distance.

Marcie, have you taken your kids to Dutch Wonderland yet? It was really cute back then; I understand now they have tons more rides and such. I liked all the little props they had there, like the pretzel I'm peeking through! This was the only time we've been there (1975) and haven't been back since!

Ellie, your example is wonderful! Yours has a more distinct DOF than mine does.

Very nice example, Diane. What exactly is Dutch Wonderland? Is it an amusement park?

Diane...the layout works too. ;) Good example and lovely LO. Reminds of the era with the hair style. :) Curious about the Dutch wonderland too.....
