Always seem to be a day late and a dollar short, but I hope you had a great birthday and that your whole year is terrific!

Thank you so very much!! The beach was wonderful!!!!!!! I am sunburned, but that's ok. I'll survive.
Only had 'slo-mo' the laptop and elements 4...that was rough. Plus.. "the mr." didn't want me on computer that much.......
Anyhow..took lots of pics. Golly hope some are ok.
Megan and George came down. He left his tripod with me...and I practiced low light stuff. That is tough.

I also...[get this] got to pick cotton today!!! I am excited. Last year, when we were at the beach, I did a LO using Sonya's kit and the cotton plant. I posted it at the den.

found another plant there this year with lots of leaves and cotton flowers. This was fun.
I have the raw stuff and the seed part! I will photograph it too. Maybe...I will try to grow it.

Happy Belated Birthday Michi! I am so glad to hear you had such a wonderful time at the beach! Can't wait to hear more through your pages and see your photos. I am so interested in learning more about low light photography! I've just returned from a few days in Tokyo and seeing DD off to the states! It has been a wonderful summer having her here and doing so many things together with family but I have been absent from the computer so I know how you feel! It is good to be back this morning to my normal schedule but a little sad too with family not here! Anyway, continued birthday blessings to you through the next year!
